It has been smartly converted to a wonderful "boutique" hotel, furnished with exclusive fabrics, antiques and objects d'art, all brought together by the lady of the house, who is an antiques dealer and interior designer.

Area:The Orangerie is located in the very heart of the city, right on the canal and is within easy walking-distance from all main sights. Recreation:The lobby and Wintergarden lounge with its views on the “trompe l’oeil” Italian gardens is a haven of rest and tranquility in fresh white and light-grayish colors. In the elegant lounge along the canal, guests can relax by the open fire, in comfortable sofas while going through the available art books and international magazines. In the meantime one can enjoy a drink either from the honesty bar or professionally served by one of the butlers. It is magical to sit outside on the terrace alongside the water, where the small boats leave every 15 minutes for a trip on the canal. Enjoy the morning sun while having breakfast here. And the daily traditional English “Afternoon Tea” is served here in the spring and summer. The oak panelled restaurant along the canal is a most enjoyable place to unwind.
