Hotel Anna is a small and cosy 64-room hotel in the very centre of Helsinki. The building was erected in 1925 and was changed to Hotel Anna in 1985. Next parallel street, Fredrikinkatu, is known for its boutiques. The biggest department stores Stockmann and Forum are both within a few minutes walking distance from the hotel. The reception is open 24hrs a day and the multilingual staff will be happy to assist guests with any queries. There are various restaurants in different tastes and a lot of trendy pubs in this area. Breakfast is served from 7-10 a.m. on weekdays and on Sundays and public holidays from 8-11 a.m. in the breakfast room. A small sauna can be reserved from the reception (fees apply). For guests arriving by car the hotel has a few parking places in a private garage nearby, only 200m from the hotel. The superior single rooms measure 10 - 11 sqm and have a wider bed than in the standard single rooms. The superior twin rooms measure 18 - 24 sqm with one or two sofas. They are functionally designed with comfort in mind and come well equipped, including an en-suite bathroom (most with showers only).*** The hotel is currently renovating all rooms on a floor by floor basis until 30/06/10. The hotel will do their utmost to keep noise disturbance minimal with all possible noisy work done during daytime. ***
